Send Photos to Federal Inmates
Sometimes a photo says what a message can’t. With ContactMeAsap you can send photos to a federal inmate by uploading them on our website or by texting them to your inmate. Photo service comes with every plan as pay-per-print, and the Premium Federal Plan includes 25 free federal prison photos.
Every photo is screened for content the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) would reject, and prints are made on the same equipment used for school photos, on FUJIFILM Crystal Archive paper.

How much it costs to send photos to a federal inmate
Prints are as low as $0.52 per photo, including shipping and screening. The exact price depends on the facility — whether it requires a photobook or loose photos — and on the volume purchased. Your inmate is notified of the exact total price before the photos are ordered, and that final price doesn’t change: it includes everything.
Pay-per-print on every plan
The Basic Federal Plan ($20 per month of service, drawn from your balance) includes the pay-per-print photo service. Premium includes it too.
25 free photos on Premium
The Premium Federal Plan ($30 per month of service, drawn from your balance) includes everything in Basic plus 25 free federal prison photos.
Plans and prices as of October 2026. Pay-as-you-go: you add funds when you choose, and your balance is yours until you use it.
Print quality
Photos are printed on the same equipment that prints school photos — high-resolution prints on quality paper from a traditional photo lab machine. We use FUJIFILM Crystal Archive paper, so the photos your inmate receives should last up to 100+ years without fading.
That’s also why we recommend uploading through our website instead of texting: photos sent by text come through at lower picture resolution.
Photo screening: one bad photo won’t send the whole order back
We screen all photos for content that will be rejected by the BOP, so that all of your inmate’s photos aren’t sent back because of one bad photo. The exact content rules are set by the BOP and can vary by facility, so check bop.govif you’re unsure about a photo.
Stay connected between photo deliveries
Photos are special, but they aren’t an everyday conversation. Both plans include unlimited federal inmate text messages, so you can check in, share news and answer questions between photo deliveries — from your own phone.

Can I text photos instead of uploading them?
Yes. You can text photos to your inmate’s phone number or use the photo upload form on our website. We recommend the website because photos sent by text come through at lower picture resolution. Either way, your inmate is notified of the photos and who they came from.
